Narendra Modi Amit Shah Stalking Mansi Soni Madhuri

Both the national parties, Congress and BJP, while debating over the imbroglio created by the expose of Gulail and Cobra Post, regarding Mansi Soni being stalked by Gujarat Police, have very carefully sidestepped a larger issue that should concern the election of a leader in a Parliamentary democracy. Congress spokeswomen who held the press conference in the noon today (Nov 17th 2013) shrunk the entire issue in to certain polite questions that they wanted Modi to answer. Primarily they questioned the misuse of state machinery. The Congress spokeswomen more or less allowed the defence of the BJP go unchallenged, the defence being that the Government of Gujarat was doing a ‘great job’ in extending ‘protection’ to a young woman at the request of his father.

Does the BJP think that the people of India are so daft and naive so as to gulp down their absurd defence that the month long minute to minute tracking, surveillance, stalking and phone tapping that was carried out by Anti-Terrorist Squad of Gujarat amounted to ‘giving protection to a girl’? If the young lady indeed needed any protection, all she had to be given was police escorts and may be given a police vehicle that would have taken care of all her security needs and that would be more than the usual norm. Or did Mansi Soni much like Narendra Modi require Z+ security?

Prima facie, the facts that have emerged so far do suggest that Narendra Modi through Amit Shah did order and carry out the most unauthorized and illegal stalking of the young lady. In such a situation, the nation does have a right to know what were the intentions behind such orders.

We the people would like to emphatically state that any act on the part of a leader which reflects on his integrity or character is an issue that cannot be brushed under the carpet. If after a proper enquiry, it is established that Mr Narendra Modi had indeed ordered his Minister of State for Home, Mr Amit Shah, to monitor the movements of young lady for a whole month of August 2009 without the authority of law, this act would certainly reflect on his character. A man who stalks a woman illegally cannot be the Prime Minister of a country of 1.2 billion citizens.
